Richard Chung Exhibit Opens June 3 at RNG Gallery

“New and Recent Works” by WhyArts artist Richard Chung opens Saturday, June 3 at the RNG Gallery/Dixie Quicks, 157 West Broadway in Council Bluffs. A reception is set for 6:00 to 9:00pm. The exhibit, on display through June 25, includes drawings and ceramic sculpture.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in the California Bay Area, Chung received a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 2001 under ceramic artist Richard Shaw. He then traveled to Omaha, Neb., to work for Jun Kaneko.

Chung’s work is included in the permanent collections at the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. For more information about the artists, visit www.richardchungstudio.com.
