Creating STEAM at OPS

Thanks to the generosity of the Peter Kiewit Foundation through Collective for Youth, a team of WhyArts artists is putting the “A” in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art + Math) at two Omaha elementary schools this year – Jackson and Central Park. The artists travel to each school twice a week to engage the students in art activities that involve STEM concepts. In addition to the after school workshops, WhyArts will take students from each school on two field trips this year. Watch this page for updates on their activities!
