Hi, My name is Christian Overly. I am excited to be working as a Kids On The Block puppeteer. In the past, I have had quite a bit of stage experience. For example, in elementary school i was involved in acting classes for people with disabilities through the Rose Theater. I did that for about a year. Also, in 2013, I was chosen as an ambassador for the state of Nebraska to represent Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. During that trip, I as well as 49 other children with illnesses or disabilities got to go on stage and receive medals. This was through Children’s Miracle Network. One of the most memorable experiences in my life.

I am excited for this job opportunity because I have always loved acting and being on camera as well as being around people. There are kids that live in my neighborhood, so I am used to being around young children. Being a wheelchair user with Cerebral Palsy can be difficult at times, but I try not to let my disability stop me from doing the things I love most.
