Julia’s love of dance and theatre began at the ripe age of 3. Since then she’s performed with many professional theatre companies through the years, including STAGES St. Louis, Tent Theatre, The MUNY, and was seen across the country singing and dancing with your favorite Muppets in the national tour of Sesame Street Live: Elmo’s Healthy Heroes! She has also been seen on stage locally at The Rose (where she was also a dance and theatre instructor) and the Omaha Community Playhouse. She served as a choreographer around the St. Louis area for musicals such as Kiss Me Kate, Fiddler on the Roof, Alice in Wonderland, Pippin, Legally Blonde, and Footloose. In 2013, she started as a teaching artist for Dancing Classrooms and since then has taught hundreds of young ladies and gentlemen self-confidence, respect, and teamwork through the art of ballroom dance. Currently she teaches jazz and tap at Heartland Conservatory of Dance and is the Tap Specialist for Smitty’s Performing Arts Center.
