Mallory Vallier

Being an educator and an artist, I’m driven to share art with all people. Art brings happiness, confidence, and peace into all of our lives. Art and culture can create healthy humans and a dynamic community.

My arts education experience has included teaching music, creative drama, and movement to people of all ages and abilities. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Music Education. I currently teach private voice lessons, theatre camps and classes with the Omaha Community Playhouse, and I’m a substitute teacher for several districts in the Metro area. My dance and movement experiences have included choreography for various show choirs in Omaha and Council Bluffs. I will be joining the team at Arts in Motion to teach Dancing in the Classrooms in Fall 2018. Outside of education, I am a performer at various theaters in the Omaha area. I have worked as an actor with the Omaha Community Playhouse, The Rose Theater, Bluebarn Theater, and more. One of my favorite acting experiences has been with Project Harmony, where I perform scenes portraying domestic violence as a utility to train Omaha Police Department recruits.

I am incredibly honored to be sharing my talent and experience with WhyArts.
