
Stephanie Goodrich is an experienced special educator who has worked in a variety of
educational settings for the last 9 years as a teacher and administrator. She has worked with
students in a variety of supported educational and community settings. Stephanie is now a
Diverse Abilities Consultant for BOLLD Collaborations and an adjunct professor at the
University of Nebraska – Omaha. Stephanie is very involved in the community and serves on
multiple non-profit boards and committees.
Stephanie completed her Ed.D. at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in Educational
Administration. Her research focused on comprehensive transition programs for students with
intellectual disabilities at the college level, specifically at Midwestern universities. Her passion
is in the area of social programming, inclusive employment opportunities, and overall health
and wellness for individuals with disabilities.
Stephanie has created several programs to benefit students with disabilities as well the
community. The programs focus on career readiness, social competence, recreation and
wellness, and community independence. Stephanie collaborates with local college students
and students with disabilities to create year-round unified sports teams and weekend social
clubs. She has written and managed several grants, including one that focused on paid
supported internships at four metro-area businesses.
Stephanie looks forward to creating opportunities that enhance the lives of individuals
with diverse abilities, so they can succeed in inclusive academic and employment settings.
