WhyArts to Participate in Arts Advocacy Day

WhyArts will participate in Arts Advocacy Day Tuesday, Feb. 7, in Lincoln.

The event is the one day each year that arts advocates, nonprofit leaders and patrons come together to speak with Nebraska legislators about the importance of supporting the arts and arts education in the state.

WhyArts Director Carolyn O. Anderson will participate in a panel discussion on arts accessibility at 1:00pm. Other panel members are Fran Silou, The Rose, and the Penguin Project, Lincoln Community Foundation. The session will be facilitated by Robin Richards from the Nebraska Arts Council.

The day begins at 9:00am and concludes with workshops offered by the Nebraska Arts Council and Humanities Nebraska. Click here for more information or to register.
