Hello! I’m Ms. Patricia and I have been a Teaching Artist for Arts in Motion’s Dancing Classroom since 2018 (acquired by WhyArts in July 2021). I earned my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Environmental Studies and my Master’s in Biology with an emphasis in Wildlife Biology and Animal Behavior from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Although I have always been interested in and enjoyed dancing, I discovered my love and passion for Latin social dancing in 2011.  Initially learning Rueda, Salsa, Bachata, Meringue and Cumbia, my love for dancing expanded into the Afro-Latin dances of Kizomba and UrbanKiz, and then into Afrohouse and Belly-dancing. When not dancing, I enjoy spending time with my family, my four-legged furballs, and my plethora of plants.
