Partner With WhyArts

Rather than asking participants to come to us, WhyArts brings creativity to them. Our fully mobile team of more than 30 professional teaching artists delivers inclusive visual arts, movement, theater, and puppetry programs in schools, healthcare settings, senior living communities, and other partner locations across Omaha, Lincoln, and western Iowa.

We Bring WhyArts to You

Each year, WhyArts brings approximately 2,500 creative workshops and events directly to our community partners through our team of professional teaching artists. By coming to your location, we eliminate the need for additional space, equipment, or staffing, making it easy to offer high-quality arts experiences where participants already learn, live, and gather. Our adaptive visual arts, movement, theater, and puppetry programs are thoughtfully tailored to support your educational, therapeutic, or community goals.

Our Core Programming

K–12 & After-School: We proudly partner with Omaha Public Schools, Collective for Youth, and other schools and youth organizations to bring high-quality arts programming directly to students. Through visual arts, theater, movement, and social-emotional learning programs like Dancing Classrooms and Kids on the Block, young people build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and meaningful connections.

Disability Services: We collaborate with rehabilitation programs, adult day centers, residential communities, and disability service organizations to create adaptive, inclusive arts experiences that celebrate every participant's abilities. Our programs foster self-expression, social connection, lifelong learning, and joy in welcoming environments where everyone can succeed.

Older Adult Communities: We bring engaging visual arts and movement workshops into senior living communities, independent living residences, and community centers. These creative experiences encourage cognitive engagement, physical activity, social connection, and a greater sense of purpose while helping reduce isolation.
