Patricia Stastny

Patricia has been a Teaching Artist for Arts in Motion’s Dancing Classroom since 2018 (acquired by WhyArts in July 2021). She earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Environmental Studies and my Master’s in Biology with an emphasis in Wildlife Biology and Animal Behavior from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Although she has always been interested in and enjoyed dancing, Patricia discovered her love and passion for Latin social dancing in 2011. Initially learning Rueda, Salsa, Bachata, Meringue and Cumbia, her love for dancing expanded into the Afro-Latin dances of Kizomba and UrbanKiz, and then into Afrohouse and Belly-dancing. When not dancing, Patricia enjoys spending time with family, four-legged furballs, and a plethora of plants.
