Homero Vela is an attorney at the law firm, Barkdoll & Von Ahsen, LLC. Mr. Vela’s practice focuses on the adversarial issues encountered by small business owners. His practice has been in service of creating generational wealth in minority and oppressed communities. In his copious amounts of free time, Mr. Vela also maintains a practice in the theatrical arts. Mr. Vela has lit, designed, produced, or otherwise been a part of hundreds of theatrical productions in Omaha and around the country in a career that spans over 20 years. Ensuring arts accessibility, especially in minority and oppressed communities is important to Mr. Vela and he is thrilled to serve WhyArts to further their incredible mission.
