Nika – Nika’s pronouns are he/him and he is autistic and deals with anxiety. When we first meet Nika, he is in high school. He always worries about his brother, Jayden, and wants to protect him from bullies, but feels inadequate and anxious. Later we see how Nika has grown into a devoted and loving father to Mari, Rae and Jamie. Even though his anxiety can get the best of him, he no longer feels inadequate. He shows so much love and compassion to his daughters and their friends that they can’t help but love their dad unconditionally.
