While I’ve won awards as a playwright, visual artist and photographer, I am truly proud to call

myself a teaching artist. For as long as I can remember, art has held a treasured place in my heart.

Being able to share multiple forms of art by teaching and creating is a joy. Why Arts is an amazing

bridge between art and all of us, irrespective of our abilities. As a teaching artist for this group, I’m

grateful to have the opportunity to interact with many for whom art is a life-transforming event.

Having taught and created art with groups of all ages, I’m so appreciative to be a part of this

wonderful endeavor.
